Positive thinking basically puts your mind at ease when things are bad. Like for example, Things could be worse. Yes the situation you are in right now could be horrible but that does not make your whole life ahead horrible. You have the power to control your mind and attitude even when you can’t control the things around you.

Yes, positive thinking could be toxic if you are using it the wrong way. You must accept your emotions and how you are feeling and think of ways that you can do better. Do not use positive thinking
Tips for improving your mindset
- Practice gratitude. Be thankful for the things you have in life even if it’s not much. Be thankful for everyday since people do not get as much. Be thankful for how strong you are to keep going. Find other things you can be grateful for throughout your day.
- Positive affirmations and self talk. Be kind to yourself as you work very hard to get here. If you were talking to your younger sibling or even younger self would you still say all the mean things you say?
- Meditation. If you are struggling with positive thinking you are struggling with being in your body, soul and mind. Meditation is just you and yourself. Learn more about yourself and your needs while meditating.
- Surround yourself with those who tell you positive things and who love you for you. When other people love you then there is something to love.
Changing your view on life really makes a difference. You can’t shoot it down until you try it.
