Bullet journaling is not considered one item but you use it as one item. One book that tells your day to day life. It shows your past, present and future. No matter how you see it, it is a great help to your life only if you allow it to be. Sometimes people consider a bullet journal a journal just to write prompts or random things about. It is so much more than what people think it is. It is a journal, of course, where you personalize it yourself. You make it a planner, tracker, a brain dump or just something you keep just to write things down.
When I use bullet journaling I feel like it helps me see my progress over the months and shows me that I am not living the same day over and over again. When you wake up and do the same things everyday it might seem like you are stuck in a loop and feel trapped in a loop. This is how I felt until I started bullet journaling and wrote down things that makes each day different. I track my mood and sleep and different tasks I can work on for the day. Each of those tasks all have a bigger goal and if I work on it little by little I will get to my goal. That’s why I continue my bullet journal every month and stay consistent with it. It is my one habit that makes things a bit better.
What Is The Point Of This Journal?
The point of this journal is to help you clear space in your mind. You will struggle if you drink enough water, or an important date, or something you want to do later. It all holds a space in your mind and once you forget it. It’s gone. Writing down things or keeping track of what you need to do, just helps clear your mind for the present instead of the future. My bullet journal helps me declutter my mind and it also tracks my progress to my goals on a monthly basis. Sometimes we think we aren’t making any progress if we do not track it down to actually see it.

Bullet journaling is a setup in one journal that you set up the way you want too. You want to track your water intake, that could be a page. You want to track your mood that could be a page. You want to see your weekly and monthly to-dos, that could be a page. You want to set up a track for sleep? That could be a page. You can have many more pages like, a brian dump page, random quotes, or even just a highlight of your day. It’s just all journals made into one because you made it in one. It’s all up to you how you want to turn it into your own. I mean who wants to carry multiple journals when you can just carry one.
How To Make Your Bullet Journal
Simply grab a journal that’s a good size to fit your needs. Start with the cover page. Right here you’ll just put the month, dates and maybe a quote of the month. The next page you’ll want to write your goals and important dates. The next few pages could be your weekly spreads where you will keep daily notes, to-dos or doodles. Now time for the trackers. This is all up to you! You can make a tracker for water, sleep, habits, reading etc. I do recommend making a page about gratitude and highlights. These pages help you recognize the little things you are happy about.

Overall, It might now work for you but there is no harm in trying it. I feel like bullet Journaling has a place for anyone just because it’s how you make it represent you. It helped many people get out of a dark place and maybe it could help you. However you want to make it, just know it’s all yours. Not for the world to see. It’s something for your eyes only so make it how you want.
